And I don't know if anyone will bother to read this but I have to share it with the world! So with the AI you get short one or three week breaks between every 11 weeks. This last week has been a one week break. And plenty of people on the world shrug at this and thing "What could you do with only one week"
Well good sir I will tell you the adventure I had is just one week!
It started off dreary and dull, filled with woes and worries. My scooter Padfoot was towed. The towing company had said that since it wasn't registered it couldn't be parked in my apartment's parking lot. 1st it's a 49cc bike so by law it CANNOT be registered. 2nd when I had first arrived at my new apartments I asked them "I have a scooter, it looks like this, it's under 50ccs so does not have a license plate, is this okay?" and they said, "yeah it's fine." And that was a lie. So it was towed and you'd think that at least they'd use a towing company in the same city but no. No towing company in Draper. I had to go to Murry. Which is about a 45 minute drive by car to get there and nearly two hours back by scooter. It cost $400 to get it out. AND THEY BROKE MY LOCK THAT I HAD ON THE SCOOTER. They also damaged a wire on my scooter so it will now show my my MPH, Batter Power, or Gas level. Not only that but while it does run it's usual pur sounds more like my scooter now has eczema. Needless to say I was unhappy. We couldn't go get it fixed or registered currently so we had to buy a storage container to keep it safe from any unruly towers.
By now you may be asking "But Ci how can this possible be a good week?" Fear not dear children of tumblr. Good things come to those who wait. So on Monday my dear friend Devan came to vist me for a few days. We had fun walking to panda and a halloween store and thinking of adventurous things to be for halloween. We also enjoyed speaking of video games and movies which is always fun. The next day we watched a full season of the Game of Thrones. And all was well. The next morning she had to go back but we agreed that the vist had been fun.
The day after that I did nothing but watch t.v.'s 30 Rock.
On Friday my dad came and we ate taco bell and removed the scooter from the towing company and put it in storage. Then we took our adventure to Barns and Nobel where I bought a JANE AUSTEN 5 year journal. Where each day of the year has a quote by Jane Austen and beneath it you write one thought. and you repeat this for five years and you can compare how much you have changed from one year to another.
On Saturday we ate at Applebees. A philly burger mmmm. And then we went to Brooke's place and picked her up. We then had a three hour drive in which Brooke and I talked and had a marvelous time catching up with one another's lives. Finally when we reached our destination we stopped at a McDonalds. Ates some burgers and fries and then moved on to greater things. Greater being THE SHAKESPEAREAN FESTIVAL! When walked in and got a small little knick-knack of a pin that said "Utah shakespearean festival hamlet and was in the shape of a skull. Then we moved upstairs to the gallery seats in which we had the first row. And watched a fantastic Hamlet. It has a curious 50's sort of feel to it but in the best way possible. The Actor who played lead was utterly incredible and for the final bow had everyone on their feet clapping. It was simply sublime. It was late when the play ended so Brooke and I napped most of the way back. When arriving home around 2:30am I was exhausted and even my roommate who snores and sleep talks could not dampen my mood so I went to bed on the couch.
On Tuesday I return to my classes and look forward to another fun 11 weeks of school.

Hey, so life is crazy.

I'll be posting a couple of things onces the quarter is over to show the world my development over the past few weeks here at AI. Right now though I need to get OFF the computer and onto my Drawing and Perspective Final.
Oh also I'm going to the Shakespearean Festival to go see Hamlet over break. Woot Woot.
I also plan on going to Anime Banzai in October. Triple Woot.

I suck at editing for Grammar

This isn't a new development. I always knew I sucked at it. But right now I'm trying to edit "The Book Bandits" and getting a whole lot of no where. I've been told reading it out loud helps. So I'm going to have to put aside my awkward feelings and maybe try it...but that also means I have to turn off my t.v.
You know I'm kind of thinking of making a video of a bit of it.

At the college computer center

it's packed so I really shouldn't be on just to come onto deviantart but I was bored and I have about five hours to kill until my next class. Anyway, so far is its all so good in terms of classes. My Professors all seem pretty together with whats going on.
First I have Writing Fiction class, it's only an 1 1/2 class so it's short. So far we've only talked about fiction. For my homework I have to find a short story that I like. I know there are some out there but for the life of me I can't seem to think of any of the good ones that I might like to share.
Next I have a Japanese 112 class (the second semester) and I've got a new professor. Hopefully that will make the class easier. I know before I had one of the toughest professors at CSN, this one, I've been told is much easier to work with. I really should be studying some vocab for that class actually. I have time though so maybe in an hour or so.
I also have a critical thinking class. The professor has really rich, awesome accent that I can't seem to place where he's from. He seems like a strict but very good professor though, and it's not a class I'm unfamilar with so hopefully it'll all go well.
Lastly I have an art class. My first day of class for that one is actually on friday so I don't know anything about it yet. I am excited for it though.
Oh also guys. I got a moter Scooter. It's under 50ccs so I don't need a motercycle license, only a drivers licence, which I did get last week so soon I'll be scooting around Las Vegas. haha.

Oh I'm obessesed with Sherlock and Merlin. They're both really good shows. BBC you have my heart. haha.

A Semester Completed

Wow, so I haven't updated since the semester began. I suppose that suggests how busy I've been these past few months. I hope to get a lot of reading done this break as well as a lot of novel editing. Next semester I hope to have much more fun with my class.
I have a five hour drawing class (which I hope helps me improve my art tremendously. The only down side is that I go to a community college which means that my professors may not be the best. I still have high hopes anyway.)
I also have a writing fiction class which I am so incredibly excited for. Like I could pee my pants I'm so excited for that.
I'm retaking my Japanese 111 because I DID NOT do well in that class this semester despite the fact that I spent three hours every night studying. Then lastly I have a Critical Thinking class, I'm hoping that this won't be too bad.
Hum what else. Well I'm looking for a commission to be done for a cover art for my novel. I'm kind of experimenting with different styles and how they look. I'm willing to pay about $50 for it. If it really blows me a way I could be swayed to pay as much as $65. I'd also like some character sketches, I don't really want to pay much for these. Maybe some DA points? I dunno, it's not a process I'm accustomed to.
